Main task was to gather documentation, write the proposals and fulfill the necessary requirements of various funding bodies to formally seek funding on behalf of Geneva School of Business.

Awarded grants (Total value: 720 kCHF):​

2021: Awarded RCSO Economy and Management Grant (2021) for 1 year project on: "Individual difference in the newsvendor problem : The roles of risk perception and external sources of information in  decision making under uncertainty"

2020: 

  • Mobility Grant from the Leading House for the Latin American Region at the University of St Gallen for fieldwork in Central America

  • Funding for "TVN - Networking Series" from Innosuisse - Swiss Innovation Agency

2019: PhD Mobility Grant from the SNSF for career development in Costa Rica​​

2018:

  • Innovation Cheque from Innosuisse - Swiss Innovation Agency for "The extension of services to fifth party logistics (5PL)"​

  • Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) 4-year project grant on: â€˜Design of Humanitarian relief Logistic networks with consideration of pre- and post-disaster management’

Writing journal articles and conference papers. Tasks included developing ideas, researching gaps in the literature and writing papers in the fields of sustainability in partner selection for collaborative networked organisations, Big Data in demand forecasting, sentiment analysis of social media information, reverse logistics in closed loop supply chains, frameworks for 5PL providers. I also supported colleagues with editing and reviewing their articles.

Teaching Assistant for Bachelor courses: Supply Chain 1 & 2, and for Masters level Forecasting Course. Tasks included coaching groups of student in semester projects, developing course content, projects and preparing class presentations, supervising and evaluating exams.

Supervising Research Interns from visiting Universities. Tasks included developing projects and deliverables for interns, supporting interns in their research and supervising project progress.

Preparing project proposal. Tasks included coordinating meetings with research partners and private companies, organising and leading meetings, communicating with the consortium and research agencies, writing and coordinating proposal for project funding from national and international research agencies.

Mentoring new collaborators. Supporting and training new team members to develop projects, write journal articles and conference papers, and develop research ideas.

Reviewing conference papers. I have reviewed over x conference papers for several conferences over the past years.
